A bit about me…

Shaida Vafaei, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, MA, LPCC

Shaida’s first experience with therapy was as a client when she was a small child. The therapeutic relationship she developed with her counselor led her to develop a great appreciation for mental wellness and gave birth to her goal of becoming a therapist herself.

In your sessions you are likely to meet Shaida’s pets; a German Sheppard named Xena and a Maine Coon named Boba.

Outside of work, Shaida likes to spend her time visiting with loved ones, creating art, and attending the occasional comedy show. Shaida also has an unrivaled passion for the works of J.R.R. Tolkien, whose books include “The Hobbit” and “Lord of the Rings”. Ask Shaida about the time she met Elijah Wood!
